Issue 3: The Light At the End of the Tunnel
It has taken me a long time to get down to writing because there has been an unwelcome visitor in my family for the last six months or so: cancer. However, as summer approaches, I have reason to be optimistic, and hope that life may now return to normal.
Therefore, it is my intention to once again begin my work with the Lazy Leader. While I plan to publish more posts in the months ahead, I am also working on the structured content for subscribers. For all intents, this will be an online book on leading teams and other such things. I will share my progress through this newsletter.
So, once again, a big thank you for subscribing and taking and interest in the Lazy Leader. I truly appreciate every subscriber and look forward to giving you something unique and beneficial.
As Iām still working out how best to prepare and organize the Lazy Leader, Iād be interested to hear what you would like to get from it. For instance, are you seeking knowledge or inspiration, a new perspective, or help to solve a problem. If you have a few moments, Iād be ever so grateful if you could tell me what you think.
What to expect from the Lazy Leader blog
Previously, I have written about leadership development, teamwork and business change. Going forward, I aim to advocate an ethical approach to leadership, which, sadly, seems to be unfashionable these days. All too often, we see our political leaders setting a poor example by making promises they cannot keep and telling stories that are not true. And the upshot? If those who set the rules can lie and mislead with impunity, then anyone in positions of power can too. Right? Wrong!
